If you are interested in going through with the DA 1.5 program Iβll recommend you to go through with it! Be prepared before starting the program itβs a very fast paced program. Dr. is going to push you to your fullest potential and give constructed criticism when needed.

The program is challenging and intense. I recommend having thick skin when entering the program. Although the program was tough it provided me with tons of hands on experience with actual patients. I got to bring patients back, take their x-rays, prepare the instruments for their treatment, assist in multiple procedures throughout the clinical days and more. My favorite procedure to assist in was extractions. My skills section on my resume is now full. Dr. Yen taught us so much in such a short time and even provided assistance in preparing resumes. Airam was a very sweet and knowledgeable class instructor and genuinely cared about our progress in the program. The entire dental staff was dedicated to getting us across the finish line which I am very grateful for. We had 3 externships and one of the doctors asked for my resume and wants to set up an interview already. I was a stay at home mom for 13 yrs and I am 38. One day I decided that since my kids were all older and in school I could finally focus on doing something for myself and luckily I discovered dental assisting. I was worried about being too old to jump into something new but here I am at the finish line! I am graduating

The Staff is nice and friendly. If you want to do the DA program you have to have thick skin and definitely enough dedication to continue. Itβs very fast pace and nobody is holding your hand.

Dr. Yenβs program is very hands-on, which I loved. Dr. Yen and the staff are all great at explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. Itβs perfect if you learn best by doing, not just watching. The days go by so fast because youβre always involved and learning something new. I highly recommend the program!

My daughter is a graduate of this course and has was amazed at the intense way that Dr Yenβs program was. This program closely resembles the military way of teaching. Lots of information in 8 weeks but everything the students learn is vital and all the hands on letβs them not only apply the material they are learning but actually put it to practice and learn what they are actually studying. This program is intense and not meant for just anyone. I like that students are interviewed prior to the program and selected based on the interview. Just because they want to study Dental assisting does not make this program ideal. This program is meant for mature, driven individuals. Dr. Yen is a tough instructor, I honestly asked if she was prior military because she is tough! But she is very good at what she does and her students graduate with confidence and all the tools they need to immediately start working in the Dental assisting field. My daughter Adianna graduated in December and is already working in a clinic doing more than even she imagined sheβd be doing in such a short time. I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone who is driven, mature and wants to learn with an outstanding inst
